ARMADA creates an «Engineers’ Hub»

Aug 24, 2025 | Creating

The ARMADA Association deeply understands the challenge posed by the growing shortage of engineering and technical personnel in the context of war of attrition and mobilisation.

To address this challenge, ARMADA is initiating the creation of an ‘Engineers’ hub’ with the aim of providing a talent pool for the Association’s member companies.

How the ‘Engineers Hub’ works:

  • The company submits a request for a specialist with the required competencies;
  • Among the Association’s member companies, an ARMADA manager selects a manufacturer whose profile matches the request and negotiates the terms of ‘hiring’ the employee to carry out the tasks.

ARMADA brings together dozens of participants, each of which is a unique manufacturer of unmanned systems and related technologies, and already has highly qualified engineering and technical staff with various competencies. The combined sum of these competencies is an effective and powerful human resource that all members of the Association can access.

Technical tasks that can be solved by the ‘Engineering Hub’ in an ‘outsourced’ format:

  • Formation of an aerodynamic model of an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle;
  • Formation of a matrix for the manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicle bodies;
  • Selection of a propeller-motor group according to the calculated model for a drone prototype;
  • Configuration of the flight controller and peripherals (inertial system sensors, etc.);
  • Test flight of drones;
  • Configuration of petrol engines for aircraft-type drones;
  • Installation and assembly of prototypes of unmanned systems.
